Magazine Analysis

InStyle magazine was written intended for a fifth grade reading level.  The ratio of advertisement pages verse content pages is more than half.  This magazine was created more directly for women or men that are interested in the art of cosmetology and fashion. The magazine seems to have more of a mature quality so the age groups it would be directed towards the upper teens and early twenties.  The magazine shows women fashion and beauty tips without breaking the bank.  The comparison of InStyle to other students in class is that there's more advertisement pages than content pages which allows for more product sales than original pieces and interviews.
